Join us for our Advanced Beginner Mahjong Class, where we’ll build on your basics and help you feel more confident around the table. This class is perfect if you’ve played a few games, know how to read the card, and want to sharpen your skills.

We’ll cover:

• Table etiquette (because nobody likes a rogue Charleston)

• How to choose a hand without overthinking it… too much

• A review of the 2025 National Mah Jongg League card

• Charleston tips and strategy so you pass smart and set yourself up for success

Expect a casual, welcoming vibe with fellow Mahjong lovers, plenty of laughs, and maybe a little light snack (in true Petal & Pink fashion). Bring your 2025 card if you have it — we’ll supply the rest.

Prerequisite: This isn’t a beginner class — you should already be familiar with the basics of American Mahjong, the Charleston, and how to read the card.
